KWXL 98.7 The Block is Tucson's only high school radio station, broadcasting from the studios of Pueblo High School, home of the Warrior Block.
98.7 The Block strives to provide our listeners with the voice of our community, through music, news and entertainment that is uniquely focused and created entirely by our students. We strive to be the go-to source for our community, with the goal of accurately and honestly reflecting the voices of the people we serve, and sharing those voices with the world around us.
Our Broadcasting and Radio Program at Pueblo High School enrolls over 100 students every year, some of whom will later embark on careers in communications and journalism. Through their work on 98.7 The Block, students are learning how to find their own unique voice, and how to use it with confidence and integrity, all while providing an important service to their community.
